Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

With an already recognized name and a link to one of the most renowned shopping galleries in Damansara Jaya, the Atria will it's new position as an established landmark.

Requirements

  • To cover large slab areas, quickly and cost effectively, the contractor has chosen to use the PD 8 table system with GT 24 lattics girders for the main beam and VT 20K girders for the secondary beams.
  • PD 8 tableform served as an inexpensive as well as a simple and quick to assemble basic formwork with a height of 6m.  This systems provides not only a high load-bearing capacity, but large adjustments in the spindles and it has only a small number of system components.

  • The ideal choice of material, delivery on time and continous dialogue with the site, both before and during the construction, were important for this project being effortlessly completed within the calculated time schedule.
  • PERI engineers incorporated a special landing platform to make the climbing scaffold's platform easily accessible from the construction lift. This avoided having to specially modify the means of access to cope with the discrepancy between the vertical lifts.
